Indonesian Leaves
These were beautiful trees in Jakarta. The leaves are small and wispy but full at the same time. I decided to go with sepia - green seemed kind of predictable, B&W (while nice enough in a graphic/abstract way) also seemed "Been there. Done that." Things in Jakarta really are kind of sepia - old, smoky yet lush. I hope this captures that.Wednesday, June 4, 2008
Statue of Liberty
The Statue of Liberty at sunset. I took this during a sunset cruise - there were only a few critical minutes to take the photo...I think I made it just in time!
The Chrysler Building
I am in love with the Chrysler Building! Every detail is amazing. Speaking of details, here's one taken last month from my hotel room in NYC on E. 42nd Street. Love it!
